Senior Planner
We are in the market for a Senior Planner to join our highly successful, innovative food manufacturing business. With our current Planner set to retire in mid-2012 we are currently recruiting their replacement with a view to them starting early in New Year, this will ensure excellent support for the handover. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager we are seeking a high caliber individual for what is a challenging and exciting role in a very high volume and complex manufacturing environment. The role will focus on:
• Creating, managing, and maintaining production schedules which maximize customer service, minimize inventory investment and assist us with achieving efficient (low cost) plant operation
• Maintain planning Master data and production rates
• S&OP process
• Finished Goods inventory levels
To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have a minimum of five plus years planning experience from within a high volume manufacturing environment. Ideally this would be in FMCG, but we would also consider those with a pharmaceutical, beverage or dairy industry background.
Candidates will need to show that they can work exceedingly well through people, and this ability will be a strong factor in their delivery track record to date. This position will appeal to those who are attracted to the challenge of working within a complex, and incredibly fast paced growth orientated business.
This experience will ideally be supported by a relevant tertiary qualification within supply chain disciplines. Candidates will find the remuneration package on offer to be attractive.
We will only consider candidates that are currently located in New Zealand, and who already have in place their legal entitlement to work here.
