Give the gift of Tasti homemade Rocky Road this Christmas!
400g best quality white or dark chocolate
150g Tasti Green Glacé Cherries
150g Tasti Red Glacé Cherries
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
150g softened butter
4 TBS golden syrup
1/4 cup Tasti Dessicated Coconut
200g of your favourite Tasti Nuts (almonds, walnuts, blanched peanuts, pistachios)
1. Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a heavy based saucepan. Scoop out about 1/2 cup of this melted mixture and put to one side.
2. Roughly chop the nuts.
3. Fold the nuts into the melted chocolate mixture in saucepan and then add the marshmallows and cherries.
4. Tip into a foil tray and flatten with a spatula. Pour the reserved 1/2 cup of melted mixture over the top and smooth the top.
5. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup coconut.
6. Refridgerate for about 2 hours or overnight and cut into bite sized pieces.
